Plan members get unlimited calls into our helpdesk. Our cybersecurity experts will be able to handle a lot of things then and there - we call this triage. Common problems are investigating suspicious URLs or phishing emails, diagnosing computer abnormalities, and responding to antivirus alerts. In rare cases, our experts will need to call in a team of reinforcements to deal with a particularly thorny problem, like remediating ransomware attacks, recovering data from blocked devices or extensive account compromisation. We call these incidents. Before we launch into incident response mode, we’ll always be completely transparent about why the triage approach isn’t enough in your situation and ask if you’d like to use one of your covered incidents.
